YELP

Club Meetings

 Each club meeting at Cypress Woods High School in Houston, TX focuses on business and entrepreneurship related activities, such as brainstorming innovative business ideas, developing business plans, and engaging in interactive workshops on leadership, financial literacy, and public speaking. Members also have opportunities to collaborate on community service projects, participate in mock pitch competitions, and connect with local entrepreneurs and mentors.

Sep 2024 Meeting

For the very first YELP meeting of the school year, YELP hosted a circuit of Olympic Games to encourage team building skills and foster new friendships! 

Oct 2024 Meeting

YELP club members were challenged to develop million-dollar business ideas within a set time. At the end, "the sharks" voted on the best idea based on factors such as innovation, investment potential, and more.

Dec 2024 Meeting

YELP club members enjoyed a leisure Winter Break activity, creating cards for YELP’s entrepreneurship workshop! They decorated "Thank You" cards for workshop participants 

Feb Meeting 2025

YELP members participated in a fun spaghetti and marshmallow team-building challenge, working together to build the tallest and most stable structure while strengthening collaboration and problem-solving skills.

April 2024 Meeting

Each member brought their own unique business idea to the table—from an online clothing shop to a cozy coffee corner, a cutting-edge AI company, and a fitness app. We put the pressure on with a rapid-fire Q&A round where everyone had just seconds to answer fun and challenging questions about their brand.
